FRESH WORK
The Palmetto Portraits Project - MUSC
visit the site
This website documented the multi-year project between MUSC, HICA and The State Museum which commissioned hundreds of portraits of South Carolinians by 24 renowned photographers. The site features several hundred selections, artist bios and essays.
Aldwyth -
Online Exhibition
visit the site
For our client the Halsey institute of Contemporary Art’s grand re-opening exhibition Aldwyth: work v. work n., we wanted the site to feel as if it had been re-imagined by the collage artist herself. Using elements of her art we completely reskinned the website as well as managed a social media campaign. The online exhibition features zoomable works, extensive video, essays and other images.
The Bushels
visit the site
For Charleston’s premiere newgrass band the Bushels we created a crest logo featuring crossed oyster knives and a clean simple site. The site is built on top of wordpress allowing the band to manage all of the content themselves.
Wedding Cakes
by Jim Smeal
visit the site
Jim Smeal is one of America’s preeminent wedding cake artisans. The existing site had good google traction owing to his great reputation but failed to elevate and display the cakes at the level they deserved. We ended up creating an entire new identity and website that fulfilled the client’s online goals.
Skinful Halloween
visit the site
The Skinful Halloween event draws several thousand revelers each year to a decadent celebration of the macabre and naughty. The redesigned site made obtaining tickets and vital information easier and more convenient for their customers. We also managed an aggressive social media campaign through twitter, facebook and flickr.
